Educational Presentations
Representatives from Canines for Disabled Kids can travel to you. These individuals are often volunteers and are scheduled based on availability. They visit schools, social groups, church groups, civic groups, corporations, small businesses, and more. They speak on service dogs, what to expect, how to behave around them, and general information about the laws pertaining to them.
Some speakers will have working service dogs or puppies in training with them, others will not. Some may have a PowerPoint or video, which may be used as a visual.
We travel all over the country to help educate children and adults about the value of service dogs in helping individuals to overcome their disabilities. Yes – the entire country. We have been in North Dakota, Florida, New York, Massachusetts, California, Arizona, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, and Rhode Island – just to name a few states.
Let us be an exciting new educational tool for your classroom, youth group, business meeting or community event.
