presents a free Community Education Workshop
Service Dogs and Helping Those Who Might Benefit from Use of a Service Animal
When: Tuesday, March 29th, 2:00pm-3:00pm central time
Where: Online via Zoom
Service Dogs are long standing tools for independence. The many ways they can be trained can help individuals with disabilities be more independent and active. From Guide Dogs to Diabetic Alert Dogs, Autism Service Dogs to Mobility Service Dogs, each dog is trained to help an individual be more independent, engaged, and access the world around them.
This presentation will provide information to help you through the process of knowing what service dogs are, determining if this is the right for you, or a loved one, and provide assistance in locating the right training program.
This event is free and open to the public. Continuing education credits are available for QIDP’s. *Session may be recorded
